Jiangjun District
Jiangjun District is a rural district of about 21,964 residents in Tainan, Taiwan. Its Chinese name means "general".
Jiangjun is located on the west coast of Taiwan, and has a harbor and a beach. Its population as of 2005 is 22,657.
Nankunshen Temple
A famous temple in Tainan County dedicated first and foremost to the Royal Lords. Located in Kunjiang Village within Beimen Township, it was built in 1662 (16th year of Yongli Emperor), allegedly after a small plague boat was captured at Kunshen Island in the late Ming dynasty, and is Taiwan’s largest temple of the Royal Lords . The 5 immortal lords Li, Chi, Wu, Zhu, and Fan are worshipped here, commonly known as the Nankunshen King. Fenling temples are spread across the entirety of Taiwan, and are praised as Taiwan’s head temple to the Royal Lords, and considered nationally- designated heritage sites.
Gueidan Hot Spring
This spring provides crystal clear water with no odor. The primitive scenery is relaxing and soothing. Definitely a must-go hot spring in Taiwan.
