Guanziling in Tainan is one of the most famous hot spring sites in Taiwan. This rare spring releases methane, which has been burning constantly for around three centuries.

Jiangjun District is a rural district of about 21,964 residents in Tainan, Taiwan. Its Chinese name means "general".

Jiangjun is located on the west coast of Taiwan, and has a harbor and a beach. Its population as of 2005 is 22,657.

A famous temple in Tainan County dedicated first and foremost to the Royal Lords. Located in Kunjiang Village within Beimen Township, it was built in 1662 (16th year of Yongli Emperor), allegedly after a small plague boat was captured at Kunshen Island in the late Ming dynasty, and is Taiwan’s largest temple of the Royal Lords . The 5 immortal lords Li, Chi, Wu, Zhu, and Fan are worshipped here, commonly known as the Nankunshen King. Fenling temples are spread across the entirety of Taiwan, and are praised as Taiwan’s head temple to the Royal Lords, and considered nationally- designated heritage sites.

This spring provides crystal clear water with no odor. The primitive scenery is relaxing and soothing. Definitely a must-go hot spring in Taiwan.

台南市西邊靠海位置，擁有蒸發量高、降雨量偏低、寬廣平地形等環境因素，造就了絕佳的產鹽優勢。
早在1665年，明鄭諮議參軍陳永華已在台南市鹽埕地區教民曬鹽，頂峰時期七股及北門兩地區的鹽場面積達1,800公頃（約95個維園大小），年產鹽量達10萬公噸，佔了台灣6個鹽場的總產量一半，但後來由於曬鹽成本過高，2002年全面廢曬。
如今，只剩下位於北門區、已有近200年歷史的井仔腳瓦盤鹽田卻依然開工。
這個作為台灣最古老的瓦盤鹽田，得到了台灣政府保留並開放予民眾參觀，讓人見識台南市盛極一時的產鹽風景，並聘請過往幫手曬鹽的大嬸阿叔回田，為民眾示範曬鹽、收鹽古法及充當解說員，繼續將台鹽發揚光大。

井仔腳是瓦盤鹽田，待海水曬乾成鹽結晶後，鹽伕便會將之堆在中央方便收集。

鹽田上設有圖案，像心心又像蝴蝶。由觀景台望下，一個個高約半米的小鹽山，遠睇好似肚臍餅上的彩色糖粒。

參觀者可擺起擔鹽的甫士拍照留念。而鹽田旁的鹽山任攞唔嬲，更可帶回家泡腳，但不可以用作煮食！

鹽田上的瓦盤，就是將原本釀酒的甕，打碎成片再鋪在結晶池上。而結晶池是曬鹽的終點站，鹽山由一顆顆鹽粒堆積而成。

位於台南市七股區鹽埕里台灣鹽博物是目前台灣唯一有關鹽產業的主題博物館，其興建主要目的是保存台灣數百年的鹽業文化資產。「鹽」為鹽工汗水與淚水的結晶，鹽堆狀的外型造觀格外有特色，遠望感覺就像兩座白色金字塔矗立在鹽田裡。

「鹽博」樓高4層，展館分設於3個樓層：1樓為「鹽田風光」，鹽工整灘、曬鹽、收鹽的勞動身影，生動而深刻；2樓「鹹鹹的臺灣」，介紹鹽業歷史與「鹽與科學」體驗；3樓為「世界的鹽」，可以讓人實際潛入地底感受波 蘭鹽礦的震撼，與中國四川鑿井取鹽的奧妙。

由「鹽博」一路向西，所經過的鹽山、臺區、觀海樓，空曠遼遠、蒼茫多麗，都是體驗鹽鄉大地的極美場景。

台灣鹽博物館的紀念品店中央位置的汞玻璃陣除了有裝飾的效果之外更是一處供客人D.I.Y.不同氣味的沐浴鹽皂的地方。
